Business Developer – Paris

Skan1 is a young company dedicated to evaluating third parties in business relationships. We are recruiting a business developer on a sandwich course to contribute to our accelerated growth in this buoyant market.

Skan1 offers its customers in-depth integrity due diligence services to help them make the right decisions about their partners.
In this way, we enable them to assess the profile of their third parties as accurately as possible, within the framework of the best practices specific to their compliance policy (Sapin 2 law, for example) and their business ethics, as well as in the management of their business risk.

Reporting to the Marketing and Sales Director, you will be responsible for sales prospecting, with the aim of recruiting new customers and increasing sales.

Missions

E-marketing

  • Develop our acquisition channels and increase the rate of qualified leads
  • Drafting and sending the various messages to maximise the conversion rate
  • Monitoring the ecosystem and the competition

Sales

  • Managing returns and leads obtained
  • Managing and organising telephone and email canvassing to obtain appointments.
  • Maintaining and developing the loyalty of our customer base through regular updates
  • Ability to present our offer to a customer or prospect

The position may evolve depending on your skills and performance!

You will also be able to take part in related cross-functional work: optimising production processes, business and current affairs monitoring, producing reports and editorial content (newsletter), etc.

Desired operational skills and profile :

You are passionate about sales and interested in compliance, business ethics and anti-corruption issues. You are capable of managing sensitive and confidential information, whether legal, financial, geo-political or marketing and sales-related:

  • Knowledge of sales techniques and good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to listen, analyse and summarise in order to understand customers’ needs and make proposals
  • Ability to rise to any challenge, thanks to a tenacious motivation that stands up to any test
  • Dynamism and impeccable oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to engage in conversation with customers and future customers
  • Perseverance and mental flexibility to analyse and advise clients in a relevant manner
  • Good organisational skills to work autonomously in action, while being able to collaborate with teams to achieve the same result.
  • Strong work ethic including diligence and perseverance, ability to manage time and deadlines while maintaining high quality standards.
  • Mastery of standard office tools

We’re looking for enterprising candidates who can quickly take on responsibility in a start-up environment where everyone’s efforts are rewarded, in a give-and-take dynamic.

Education:

  • Level of education: Master 1 or 2 or equivalent (business school, political science or law)
  • A good level of written and spoken English is essential and a second foreign language would be a plus.
  • Initial experience in a similar environment, via an internship for example, would be appreciated but is not essential.

Practical details

  • Work-linked contract, minimum duration one year from September 2024
  • Remuneration based on the Syntec agreement, in line with your profile.
  • Position based in Paris, with the possibility of partial teleworking depending on your schedule and internal production organisation constraints.
  • 50% reimbursement of Navigo pass
